Advanced Notice for Conference

The African Meteorological Society, also called AfMS, is dedicated to building capacity in Africa to withstand the disastrous effects of Climate Change. In addition, to improve the economies of African nations, and for providing Early Warnings for various kinds of weather-related disasters, accurate weather forecasting is very important. We are planning to hold the first Conference of the AfMS in April 2025. The location (tentatively) is Addis Ababa, Ethiopia) and dates (tentatively) are April 6 to 0, 2025. Final venue and dates will be announced during the first half of May 2024.

Please plan to submit papers for the Conference and also join us on this momentous occasion.
