The African Meteorological Society (AfMS) is pleased to publish the official Post-Conference Report of the First Joint AfMS–IFMS–EMI Scientific Conference, held from 20–23 April 2026 at the Ethiopian Meteorological Institute (EMI) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The report highlights the conference’s achievements, key scientific discussions, attendance, outcomes, recommendations, and lessons learned, while capturing the collective commitment of Africa’s meteorological community to advancing climate resilience, early warning systems, scientific collaboration, and sustainable development across the continent.
